From my very first enquiry through to the funeral itself, they handled the whole process with compassion, empathy and supreme attention to detail.In my mind, it’s no good being caring if you’re incompetent; equally, highly competent but no warmth or care in this industry wouldn’t work either. I’m pleased to say Lewis and Vanessa were professionals of the highest order as well as being just brilliant to deal with at a very difficult time.They called when they said they would, emailed when they said they would, dealt with everything as they said they would - I know this should be the same for every firm (in all industries) but it’s just not in my experience. Too much over promising and under delivering / but not here.Lewis promised that we’d be well looked after and he and Vanessa lived up to our expectations in every aspect.Calm, caring, reassuring, dignified, professional - I can’t see why you’d want any other firm to look after one of your loved ones at such a time.Thank you!
I first heard about Lewis Northen Funeral Services a couple of years ago and learning that he was an independent funeral director really appealed, the fact that he was from Beverley was even better. Sadly my sister and I lost our Mum a little while ago, I suggested Lewis to my family. Completely the right decision. Lewis and his colleagues took great care of Mum and us as a family. Lewis organised everything for my mum's cremation with great care, respect and thoughtfulness. He guided us with real kindness at very sad time and made us feel that we could have asked him for anything and nothing was too much trouble. The service was exactly how we wanted it to be.
